Shift Supervisor (A.M.)
- Requirements:
- Prior experience managing teams
- ServSafe certified
- Computer literate Excel, Word
- Must be available on Sundays and some holidays
- Responsibilities include:
- Assist with policy making and enforcement for Store and Cake Decorating departments
- New Employee Training
- Manage store and cake decorating departments
- Awareness of attendance. Manage vacation requests, call outs, no-shows
- Observe production for quality control
- Assist with waste reduction
- Point person for USDA / Public Health / Fire Department / GWA inspections
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Report and replace poor performing employees
- Assist with scheduling for retail store and cake decorators
- Assist with the hiring/firing decisions for the teams managed
- Advocate for the team. Act on sound recommendations for improving work environment.
- Requisition tools and resources the team needs to increase productivity and improve employee satisfaction
- Ensure the team maintains healthy level of productivity
- Daily tasks include:
- Food safety throughout the facility
- Inspect Walk-ins and refrigerators
- Inspect temperature logs
- enforce labeling
- Cleanliness inspections
- floors, shelving, bathrooms
- Assist on the baking floor, decorating room, retail floor as needed
- Food safety throughout the facility

- Work Hours:
- 5:30AM to 12:30pm (Sunday through Thursday)
